1. The service

Portaly provides tools to create, publish and manage business mini-sites. These terms govern your use of the hosting and editing services provided by RealmJar Pty Ltd, trading as Portaly.

2. Accounts and authority

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and use an account you are authorised to manage. If you create a site for a business, you must have permission to represent it and publish its content.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you supply. You give Portaly permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate your site. Public sites may be shown in Portaly’s inspiration showcase. You are responsible for the accuracy of your content, the rights to your images and logos, and the handling of your customers’ information.

Do not use Portaly for unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, malware, harassment or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts, private media or billing information.

4. Plans, checkout and renewals

The available plan, price, currency and billing interval are shown before checkout. Choosing a plan or accepting these policies does not itself charge you. A recurring subscription begins only through the payment flow and renews according to the checkout terms.

Paystack processes payments. Review the total price, billing interval and renewal information before confirming checkout. Failed payments may be retried and publication may be suspended while payment remains unresolved. Your billing page shows recorded payments and subscription status. Contact support if you believe a charge is incorrect.

5. Cancellation and deletion

Cancellation stops future subscription renewals once confirmed by the payment provider. It does not automatically refund a previous payment. The current paid period may remain active until it ends. Statutory refund or cancellation rights are not excluded by these terms.

You can request cancellation through your site’s billing page or contact support@portaly.co.za for assistance. Check the confirmation to ensure renewals have stopped. Site deletion also requests cancellation of linked subscriptions and proceeds only after renewals are confirmed stopped and unresolved payments are addressed. Deleting a site removes its active content; billing and audit history is retained separately. Save copies of content you want to keep before deletion.

6. Availability and changes

Features may change and the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, technical faults or events outside our reasonable control. Portaly does not promise uninterrupted availability, particular search rankings or a specific number of visitors. The current uptime display is not a service-level guarantee.

7. Suspension and responsibility

Access or publication may be restricted for payment failures, security incidents or misuse. You remain responsible for your business offerings and agreements with your customers. Portaly provides the hosting and editing tools; it does not become the seller of your business’s products or services.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer cancellation and refund rights. For a billing dispute or refund request, email support@portaly.co.za with your account email, payment reference and reason for your request. We assess requests under applicable law and the terms of your purchase. You may also use any court, regulator or dispute-resolution body available under applicable law.

8. Privacy and policy changes

The Privacy Policy ↗ explains the information used by Portaly. Accepting these terms is not marketing consent. Your acceptance date and the policy version are recorded with your site setup.

The version shown above identifies these terms. We will communicate material changes affecting your ongoing service before they take effect. Changes do not remove rights already acquired under applicable law.
