Prepare a small photo shortlist
Choose a logo and a few photos before you open the builder. Pick images that explain your business, not just fill space. Keep the originals and use pictures you own or have permission to publish.
Choose a template that fits your offer
Start with a service-led layout if customers need practical details quickly, or an image-led layout if your work is visual. Replace the heading and introduction first. A template saves setup work without deciding your whole design.
Edit one section at a time
On Portaly, use the editing view for content and controls, then switch to Preview site to see the result. Add a heading, write a short explanation and upload an image if it helps. Save as you go rather than trying to finish everything in one sitting.
Add pages when they help
Use + Add page for an About, Contact or Services page. Keep the page private while you write it. Save the content, then publish through Page settings. Shared navigation means you do not need to rebuild the header for every page.
Check the customer's experience
Read the site as a customer would. Can you see what is offered and how to enquire? Are headings easy to scan? Check both mobile and desktop previews, then review search titles and descriptions in the SEO workspace.
Publish when you are ready
Complete the review and checkout after your site is ready. Once payment is verified and the site is live, share the address. You can update the same site from your phone or computer later; there is no separate mobile version to maintain.
